She is completing her LL.M. in 2026 and preparing to devote the next chapter of her life to public service and legislative reform.

From Psychology to Policy: A Career Built on Purpose
Dana Guefen's professional path connects two disciplines that don't always talk to each other: mental health and the law. She earned a Master's degree in Psychology and worked in adolescent mental health services early in her career, supporting clinical operations and psychotherapy programs. She also worked in residential and commercial real estate development while completing her education.
Now finishing her Master of Laws degree in 2026, Dana brings that layered background directly to her advocacy work. Her focus is family law reform. She believes that when courts and legal systems work effectively, families and children are served better. She plans to launch both a C-3 and a C-4 nonprofit to pursue legislative and humanitarian goals on that front.
Coalition, Community, and a Long-Term Vision
Dana grew up in Kansas and was later raised in Houston, Texas, in a family where philanthropy and civic contribution were simply part of life. That foundation shaped how she thinks about change. She sees coalition-building as central to any serious advocacy effort, built on common purpose and a shared commitment to improving the standard of living for women, children, and marginalized communities.
As a mother of two, Ahava and Solomon, Dana has spent years connecting lived experience to policy thinking. She wants families searching for legal and civil options to find real pathways, not dead ends. Her long-term goal is to create systems that give the oppressed and underserved access to the relief and representation they deserve.
